THE FREEDOM TRAIL – The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile walking tour throughout the city that highlights 16 nationally significant historic sites, such as The Old North Church, Paul Revere’s House and the U.S.S. Constitution.

NEWBURY STREET – For the shopper in you experience 8 blocks of shops, spas, and great dining. Find any store on this street from everyday stores such as Gap and Express to high-end stores like Chanel and Valentino. Also pop into the many boutiques along the way and you will be sure to find unique gifts and clothes for whomever you are shopping for.

PRUDENTIAL CENTER/COPLEY PLACE – Another set of shops just 1 street over from Newbury Street that house such stores as Barney’s New York, Nieman Marcus, Mango and many more! However the real gem of these shops is that is built around the Prudential Center. I suggest taking the elevator to the “Top of the Hub” to experience a magnificent view of city and grab a bite to eat.

HARVARD SQUARE – Harvard Square is on the edge of Harvard and not far from MIT. This busy square has everything from Tapas to street music. If the day is nice take a stroll through Harvard’s famous campus, visit their gorgeous boat house and check out what event is going on in the stadium. Although Harvard won’t be playing local lacrosse and soccer teams often use the venue during the summer.

FANEUIL HALL – QUINCY MARKET – Quincy Market is an outdoor marketplace offering a lot of food and some shopping. Faneuil hall is located in Quincy Market and was built in the 1700’s as a town assembly hall and today it is still used as a Boston Debate hall. You can visit Faneuil Hall and listen to a historical presentation every 30 minutes, 7 days a week.

THE NORTH END – The North End is the Italian section of Boston, and the main attraction here is the amazing food and pastries. Bring an appetite!

FENWAY PARK – No Boston visit is complete without a glimpse of the famous Fenway Park! For just $12 and under you can visit Fenway for a guided tour of “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark”. Although the 2009 Season schedule is not out yet, catching a game would also be a wonderful way to spend your afternoon or evening in the city.
